How Your Part Moves Through Production

Your drawing is the starting point. We review the aluminum extrusion profile section, alloy, wall thickness, hollow areas, required length, machining features, finish and packing needs before production begins.

For a new profile, tooling and trial extrusion are part of the process. If an existing profile is suitable, those steps may not be required.

When a new profile is needed, the process begins with the extrusion die.

For a New Profile, It Starts With the Die

For a new profile, an extrusion die is made from the approved section.
Before the die is produced, we check the profile shape, wall thickness, fins, hollow areas and other details that affect extrusion.
The die is installed and heated before the first trial. Heated aluminum is then pressed through it to form the profile.

Your Profile Takes Shape Here

Extrusion creates the main shape of your part. If an existing profile matches your size and application, we can check it first. For a new section, heated aluminum is pressed through a die made for your drawing.
Heat sinks, enclosure bodies, hollow profiles, rails and tubes are all produced this way.
Before production, we review the section, alloy, wall thickness, hollow areas, length and finish to select the suitable press and production route.

The suitable press is confirmed after reviewing the profile section, wall thickness, hollow areas, alloy, required length and finishing requirements.

Tooling and First Trial

For a new profile, we make a trial extrusion before production.
The trial lets us check the actual section against your drawing — including key dimensions, wall thickness, hollow areas, fins, straightness and visible surface condition.
If the first result needs adjustment, we will tell you what we found, what needs to be changed and what happens next. We will also let you know if this affects the next trial or production timing. See how we handle project updates on our [Services] page.

Cooling, Straightening and Cutting

After extrusion, profiles are cooled, straightened and cut to the required length.
This is especially important for long profiles, wide sections, thin-wall enclosures and high-fin heat sinks. It helps control bow, twist and distortion before CNC machining, finishing or assembly.

CNC Machining Workshop

CNC Equipment for Profiles and Finished Parts

CNC machining is used after extrusion to add the features needed for your assembly.
3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC equipment is used for extruded profiles and machined aluminum parts.
For long profiles, CNC machining is available in lengths of up to 6,500 mm.

For long, thin-wall or hollow parts, we review how the profile will be supported and clamped before machining. This helps reduce deformation, clamping marks and position errors.

Surface Finishing

The Finish for Your Part

The surface finish is selected based on how your part will be used and how it needs to look.
Available options include:

  • Color anodizing
  • Hard anodizing
  • Sandblasting
  • Brushing
  • Powder coating
  • Custom RAL colours

For visible parts, we recommend confirming the finish on a sample before production. Black anodizing can show extrusion lines, handling marks and contact points more clearly than clear anodizing or powder coating.

Inspection and Quality Control

Checking the Details That Matter to Your Part

Checks are carried out during production, not only before shipment.
Depending on your requirements, we check:

  • Mounting faces and critical machined dimensions

  • Quantity, labels and packing condition

Packing and Shipment Preparation

Protecting Your Parts for Shipment

Packing is arranged around the length, weight, surface finish and shipping method of your parts.
Long profiles, anodized visible surfaces and thin-fin heat sinks need suitable separation and support to help prevent scratches, bending and handling damage.
Depending on the product, packing may include protective film, foam separation, cartons, pallets or wooden cases.
Before shipment, we check the quantity, protection and packing condition.
