A Two-Part Heat Sink Assembly

This assembly combines a round extruded heat sink body with a separate CNC-machined aluminum mounting plate.

The heat sink provides the external cooling fins, while the plate carries the mounting holes and connection features. Both parts were machined separately and then fastened together with screws.

Heat Sink Extrusion Profile

The heat sink body uses a Ø138 mm round extrusion profile with external fins and a Ø50 mm central opening.

The fin shape and the small internal features are formed during extrusion. The profile can be cut to different heights before the center area is machined with the required hole positions for the assembly.

CNC-Machined Aluminum Mounting Plate

A separate aluminum mounting plate was made for this extruded heat sink assembly.

The plate was CNC machined on both sides with the required recessed area, hole layout, threaded holes and counterbores. It was produced as a separate part, then fitted to the round extruded heat sink body.

This assembly combines extrusion, cutting, CNC machining and fastening in one finished set.

Finished Heat Sink Assembly

The same Ø138 mm round heat sink profile was supplied in different heights, each combined with a matching machined aluminum plate.
